It’s possible to lose sense of taste and smell due to zinc deficiency. It’s also possible due to contact with venom from a snake or spider.
Covid also burns through zinc like a match, and bioavailable copper.
Taking a zinc supplement like Zn picolinate alone, short term is ok, but bad for copper, long term. Start with 15 mg a day. Increase to 50 mg a day if needed.
Best to eat something like oysters (high in both zinc and copper).
Zinc ionophores might also be relevant eg quercetin.
Make sure iron levels are not high, as iron feeds infections eg ferritin under 40, saturation under 35%.
Iron chelation is being used in covid treatment.
Natural iron chelators include cabbage, Braggs Apply Cider vinegar, green tea, quercetin, lactoferrin, IP6.
1 teaspoon of Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar (any unfiltered, raw Apple Cider Vinegar would work) in a glass of filtered or spring water (no tap water) 3 times a day after a meal.
Always add it to water, it will burn your throat if you don’t!
To protect the brain in many chronic conditions, coconut oil has been used.
1 tablespoon of organic, cold pressed Coconut Oil 3 times a day after a meal. I took both together after my meals to return my senses to normal.
Other antioxidants you can try which maybe useful in the fight against graphine are, NAC, 3% hydrogen peroxide spray, colloidal silver and products like CoQ10, PEA and PQQ, Alpha Lipoic Acid 600mg 2 times a day. Also Sulphurophane (concentrated broccoli sprout extract), omega 3 oil and key lime.
